CIETAC CUP International Commercial Arbitration Moot is a competition for law students. Organized and hosted by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (the “CIETAC”), the Moot is intended to promote arbitration legal system and foster the education of high level experts in the field of arbitration.
Since the first CIETAC CUP that was held in 2000 to this year, CIETAC CUP has attracted an accumulative of over 20,000 participants from more than 200 universities. CIETAC CUP has gained increasing popularity and influence among universities and law schools, and has become one of the most important moot competitions for law students. It has played an important role in training legal talents with practical skills and encourage them to take part in international commercial dispute resolution.
